BEER BUTT CHICKEN

For each chicken mix together:

1 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. mustard powder
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. salt

Rub dry mixture on entire chicken, in the body cavity and under the breast skin.

Open a can of beer (drink half of it). Sit the chicken on the can. Place chicken with the beer can inside on the bar-b-que with the legs pointing down. Cook on low for 2 1/2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 180. If your bar-b-que has a double burner, use one side only. While the chicken is cooking spray it every 15 minutes with a mixture of 1/2 cup apple juice and 1/2 cup vinegar. Enjoy!
